What is DSL?
DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is a technology for bringing high-bandwidth information to homes and small businesses over ordinary copper telephone lines. Digital data is transmitted to your computer directly as digital data instead of being modulated by a modem, and this allows the phone company to use a much wider bandwidth for transmitting it to you.

Can I have normal (analog) dialup with a DSL account too?

Yes, but you would need to purchase an additional account for this. We are able to offer this service at such low prices because we don't need to add new phone lines or dialup hardware. If your DSL line goes down because of technical problems, though, you would be able to connect to CityStar® while your DSL line is down.

If you purchase a dial-up account for emergency use, for travelling, etc., you will have full access to our network of 10,000 dialup numbers nationwide.

You can get a $15.95/month Deluxe account for unlimited usage, or a $9.95/month Basic account, limited to 15 hours per month.
